Kiksuya
Kiksuya is the Lakota word for 'Remember'
Welcome to Kiksuya, an outreach organization to the Lakota people on Pine Ridge Reservation.

Our mantra: When serving the Lakota people, "First Do No Harm!"
Kiksuya (pronounced kig-shoo'-ya)means 'remember'. Each year in May some members of Kiksuya will travel to Pine Ridge Reservation to do volunteer work with an organization there called Re-Member.
All Kiksuya members work together during the academic year to support that effort through fundraising and educational efforts on our campus and in our neighboring communities.

Kiksuya at NKU will work to form alliances with Kiksuya organizations serving Pine Ridge from other campuses around the country.
