Democracy Matters

Democracy Matters is a non-partisan, campus-based project aimed at raising awareness of the influence of money in politics. We will try and bring about a system of elections in this country whereby candidates would not have to rely as heavily on donations from powerful interests. Democracy Matters believes instituting laws which would allow the public financing of federal, state and local campaigns is one way to clean up our political system.
