Welcome to SMAC!
SMAC is comprised of students with varying degrees of experience in metalwork. We make and sell jewelry and small metal sculptures to fund club activities.
SMAC welcomes new members every year. Most members join while enrolled in the beginning jewelry and metalsmithing class (ARTA 2081); this ensures that all members have some knowledge of metalsmithing and allows beginning metals students to supplement their skills with additional techniques used while making material for SMAC sales. Members do not have to be enrolled in a metalsmithing class to participate in SMAC, however. SMAC dues are $5.00, paid once a semester.
